Join us on Saturday, November 18th for our 7th Annual Run for Shelter. Run for Shelter features a 5K, 10K and Fun Run, benefiting Carpenter's Shelter and the homeless in our community. Join us as we race to end homelessness!
Run for Shelter benefits Carpenter's Shelter, a homeless shelter in Old Town, Alexandria. Carpenter's Shelter supports the homeless in our community to achieve sustainable independence through shelter, guidance, education and advocacy. Proceeds from Run for Shelter last year helped make it possible for 90 single adults and families to move from homelessness to housed! Let's do it again this year!
The course along Eisenhower Avenue is fast, flat, and USATF-certified. The races begin at the USPTO building (600 Dulany Street, Alexandria, VA 22314).
Runners can compete in a 5K, 10K or a Fun Run.
